Right-sizing Google Workspace licensing for legal practice is no longer a theoretical conversation for law firms. It is a practical one — with real implications for how firms serve clients, protect data, and grow revenue.
The problem is not your licensing strategy — it's the execution underneath
Most firms we work with have already made the strategic call. The pilots worked. The partners approved the budget. Then, somewhere between ambition and execution, things stalled. Costs climbed, risk teams raised flags, and the ROI that seemed so compelling on a slide failed to materialize inside the practice.
What we're seeing across law firms
Google Workspace workloads don't arrive in bursts; they create a continuous operational pulse. Practice systems are always on, data is always moving, and latency is now a client-experience outcome.
What to do next
Start with a candid assessment of where your licensing program actually lives inside your firm today — not where the deck says it lives. Instrument it. Measure it. Then invest where the measurement tells you to invest, not where the market is loudest.
